Connecticut employers may not deprive an employee of employment or threaten or coerce an employee for the reason that the employee receives a summons or serves as a juror.
Paid time off. Full-time employees (those normally working 30 or more
hours per week) must be paid their regular wages for the first five days or part
days of jury duty service. Employers are liable to employees for failure to
compensate for the first five days of jury duty but, on a showing of extreme
financial hardship, the compensation requirement may be waived.
