Delaware law states that an employer may not threaten, coerce, or deprive an employee of employment because of a summons to serve as a juror or attendance in court for prospective jury service.
Paid time off. Juror's pay may not be docked. By statute, jurors are
paid a per diem rate of $20 as compensation for expenses associated with jury
duty. Employers may not consider this reimbursement as pay and make a deduction
from wages in a like amount.
